Nothing here is medical advice

This is the term that matters most, so it goes first. All content is education and personal experience, written by someone with no medical training. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Please read the full medical disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Purchases

The book is sold through Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, delivery, and receipts. Gumroad's terms and refund process apply to the transaction itself.

You are buying a digital product (PDF and EPUB), delivered immediately on purchase. If a download fails or a file is faulty, email hello@proctalgiafugax.co and I will fix it. If the book is not what you hoped for, ask for a refund and you will get one — I would rather refund you than have your money.

Pricing

The book is sold in founding-price tiers that rise as copies go out. The price shown at the moment of checkout is the price you pay. Buying at an early tier does not entitle you to anything further, and a later price rise does not entitle earlier buyers to a refund of the difference.

Your licence to the book

Buying the book grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to read it, keep it on your own devices, and print a copy for your own use.

It does not permit you to redistribute it, upload it, resell it, or reproduce substantial parts of it publicly. The single-page Emergency Card is the exception — please copy that one, print it, and give it to anyone who needs it. That is what it is for.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation would be unlawful.
